ABOUT US
The TMJ Dance Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and families in historically underserved communities through dance. Our mission is to offer dance programs that promote community outreach, arts education, affordable dance training, and cultural awareness.
OUR PROGRAMS
Our programs aim to address opportunity gaps in dance while promoting social-emotional learning, literacy skills development, health and wellness, and providing quality dance training and education.
Community Outreach
TMJ Dance Project offers outreach programs that support early childhood development, professional development for teens and young adults, and wellness for senior adults. All of our outreach initiatives are designed to promote healthy individuals and strong communities.

Affordable Dance Training
The TMJ School of Dance is the official school of the TMJ Dance Project. This prestigious institution awards more than $20,000 in annual scholarships and financial aid to students and families seeking intensive training in dance skills, choreography, and performance.

Auxiliary Dance Team Training
Our Spirit and Auxiliary division awards over $50,000 annually in sponsorships and bids to support training camps, dance conventions, competitions, and professional development for coaches of school and community dance teams.
